Racial Trope Meaning – Jon Gruden is in major trouble.
The Las Vegas Raiders lead trainer is under NFL examination after a bigoted email he sent in 2011 reemerged, as indicated by a report.
In the decade-old email, Gruden — then, at that point, an ESPN telecaster — played into a bigoted generalization about Black individuals while scrutinizing NFL Players’ Association Executive Director DeMaurice Smith, a Black man.
He let Beaton know that he was malcontented with Smith’s treatment of the association’s lockout at that point and that he was attempting to describe the NFLPA boss as a liar.
Gruden said something almost identical to Vic Tafur of The Athletic, taking responsibility for the messages.
It appears to be somewhat difficult to accept that Gruden wasn’t at all mindful of that figure of speech and that his remarks coincidentally landed on a racist trope inadvertently. Despite what prompted that remark, however, it might mess some up for him.
