Kelly Ernby Twitter – Kelly Ernby, a political newbie who ran for an Orange County state Assembly seat two years prior as a Republican, kicked the bucket this week. Notwithstanding political activism, she labored for quite some time as an O.C. agent head prosecutor.
Ernby, a Huntington Beach inhabitant, was 46.
Dist. Atty. Todd Spitzer said in an assertion
“The Orange County district attorney’s office is utterly heartbroken by the sudden and unexpected passing of Deputy Dist. Atty. Kelly Ernby”
“Kelly was an incredibly vibrant and passionate attorney who cared deeply about the work that we do as prosecutors — and deeply about the community we all fight so hard to protect.”
Spitzer lauded Ernby’s excitement as a feature of his organization’s Environmental Protection Team and considered it an “absolute privilege” to work close by her.
Insight about Ernby’s passing surfaced Monday morning when nearby Republican government officials and party activists started openly honoring her.
